Andalucia Day 28 Sherry day
We take the Cercanías train to Jerez de la Frontera and explore the historical centre some more, in particular the Santo Domingo cloisters.
Rain is threatened but there is just a vaporiser effect a few minutes before twelve when we have the free guided visit to La casa del vino as part of the Sherry week initiatives. It's just us and a Spanish girl and the visit is in Spanish but since we know what the guide is talking about we manage reasonably well.
The visit ends with a short tasting of three Jerez wines, and the guide explains some of the over or undertones to be appreciated in each. We leave a little tipsy after so much wine on an empty stomach, but manage to find our way back to the Tabanco we visited on Friday and repeat both the menu and the siesta near the Alcazar after.
Back in El Puerto it's time to pack and clean because tomorrow we are moving on.
