- Palacio de Mondragon (Museo Municipal): Free entry Tuesday from 15:00 to 17:30 for EU citizens.
- Art Gallery Joaquin Peinado Tuesday: Free entry from 15:00 to 17:00
- Banos Árabes: Free entry Tuesday from 15:00 to 17:30
- Casa del Gigante: Free entry Tuesday from 15:00 to 17:30
Antequera

- El Torcal de Antequera Natural Park is free and absolutely spectacular, read about our days there here and here and extra info here
- Dolmen de Menga y Viera are free and so is Dolmen el Romeral. The Dolmens are a UNESCO world heritage site and are worth visiting if you're in the area. Watch the video in the visitors centre first.
- Antequera city Museum is free on Sunday 9:30h - 14:00h
- Real Collegiata de Santa Maria is free on Tuesday 14:00h - 18:00h
- Alcazaba is free on Tuesday 14:00h - 18:00h
The vast majority of the churches are also free.
Malaga (updated 21/10/2019)
- Alcazaba y Gibralfaro: Free on Sunday afternoons from 14:00 to closing. Absolutely worth the visit. The views on the way up and in both are spectacular.
- Picasso Museum free on Day of Andalusia (28 February), International Museum Day (18 May), World Tourism Day (27 September), every Sunday free admission the last two opening hours. We went when it was free and found it interesting, probably wouldn't have paid the official 8 € because not our favourite artist.
- Cathedral: free from Monday to Thursday from 9 until 10.
- Museo Jorge Rando : free
- Centre Pompidou : Free on Sunday afternoons from 16:00
- Museo Revello De Toro : Free on Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00. Interesting building etc if you have some spare time.
- Malaga Museum in Palacio de la Aduana: free for EU citizens
- Centro de arte contemporáneo: free, we wandered and wondered on a rainy afternoon.
- Museo Unicaja de Artes y Costumbres Populares free on Tuesdays from 13.00 to 17.00

- Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballeria de Ronda: Free entrance for EU citizens on Monday (8:00 -10:00), Tuesday (9:00 -10:00), Wednesday (9:00 -10:00). You can wander around the bullring which is very interesting You need to show a document to get in and get a free entrance ticket but the visit to the museum is not included for free.

For some other attractions it's cheaper to buy the ticket at the tourist office than at the door. We visted the Plaza de Toros but nothing else, since we only had a day to spend there we walked and walked and walked to visit the historical centre, the Tajo, the rest of the centre, the Mirador: the environment and the views are the best things about Ronda and they are absolutely free.

- Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga: Free on Sunday afternoons from 17:00. Lots of things are free on Sunday afternoons and we chose this art gallery and didn't regret it. even in March there was quite a queue but worth the wait. It normally costs 6€
- Jardín Botánico Histórico Finca de la Concepción: Free on Sunday 1st April – 30th September: 15:30-19:30 and 1st October – 31st March: 9:30-16:30. Have not yet managed to visit this botanical garden, but definitely on my list.
