Costa degli Etruschi May 2021 - Vada White beach
We park near the Vada end of the white beaches. The sea has calmed down overnight, the usual morning clouds have decided to have a day off and the wind hasn't geared up for the day. Caribbean effect as desired. Very few people. A beautiful seascape, even if it isn't natural. We stroll slowly along the white beach in the warm sun and are contented.
After a lot of indecision we have decided to stay another week so we get that sorted out, do some basic shopping, have a peaceful lunch and a nap and then head to the beach near the apartment with the wheeled sunbeds provided by our host. Some people, not too many, a breeze, not too much, sunny, not too hot. I catch up on writing this blog and think to myself again: in this precise moment I have no complaints....We are now well into the second year of Coronavirus. At this moment I'm on the beach listening to the waves, chitchat brought by the wind, feeling the warm sun. I have no complaints. It's enough.
