Sardinia in May Hiking Sentiero Natura Santa Teresa Gallura
On Wednesday morning I do a little work and then, since it’s a cloudy morning and quite cool, we decide to do the Sentiero Natura between Santa Teresa and Capo Testa. We set off from the apartment on foot and the start of the routes is about opposite the grand Hotel Colonna Capo Testa.
It’s an easy walk surrounded by the Mediterranean vegetation and we soon arrive at a Belvedere or viewpoint. From there we continue to do a loop taking the wider dirt road on the right which takes us to some look-out points. The first in particular has good views of the coast and Capo Testa.
The narrow path to the second is quite overgrown but we push through, getting a little scratched in the process. Although there are some forestry people clearing vegetation so maybe they will get to that too. Back on the wider track and heading on in the direction of Capo Testa we then go down and get back to the Viewpoint. It’s a nice walk for an hour or so if it’s not too hot.
After lunch back at the apartment and since the wind is from the west we go down to the Rena Ponente beach. I swim (wow!) Andrea sunbathes and we relax. A relaxing day.
