Granada - free attractions
The Alhambra is splendid but it would be a real pity to stay in Granada only long enough to visit the Alhambra, there are so many other things to do and places to see and many of them are free at least one day a week and sometimes all the time. This post includes all the interesting places we ourselves actually visited for free and is updated for March 2019. Opening hours may vary, especially between winter and summer and you should check before you visit. Go to the tourist office in Granada which can provide you with a photocopy of updated opening times for the month you are there. Places with Free written in bold are always free, the others only certain days/times
